Since the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, Berlin has been a constantly changing city. This is particularly evident when you look at the city models of Berlin. My colleague and friend Andreas explains this using the example of Potsdamer Platz. The video was recorded in 2015! Please share, comment, like and suscribe to my channel, if you liked the videos! Thank you for your support! Location and more information: The Senate Department for Urban Development and Housing Berlin has several physical city models showing central Berlin in different time periods and in different scales. It also has digital two-dimensional plans and three-dimensional models of the city centre, in which urban planning projects for the future are depicted beside the current building stock. The exhibition with the city models should definitely be seen, be it virtual or on site! https://www.stadtentwicklung.berlin.de/planen/stadtmodelle/index_en.shtml

The movie โWings of Desireโ is a good document of what Berlin, at least the Western sectors, looked like in 1986/7.
